working with people and wants to help you learn.
Adult Learner FAQ:
1. How do I get started?
Contact the Tutor Coordinator @ 904-272-5988 to make an
appointment. The office is located at Orange Park High School,
2306 Kingsley Ave. Adult Education Wing A, Orange Park,
FL 32073.
2. How long do I have to wait for a tutor assignment?
A tutor will be assigned to you according to your needs and the
times you are available. We will match you with a tutor as soon
as possible, although there may be a short wait.
3. How much will it cost?
We are able to offer our services and materials free of charge
due to the generous donation of volunteer time as well as
grants, memberships and donations. We invite you to become a
member!

4. Where will I meet my tutor?
Tutors and adult learners meet at libraries, schools, churches,
and other public places near your home. You will need to provide
your own transportation.
5. How often will I meet with my tutor?
Tutors and adult learners meet once or twice a week for 1 ½ to 2
hours. You and your tutor will agree on meeting times and the
length of your tutoring sessions.
6. Is childcare provided?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide childcare services, so
you will need to make arrangements for your children. It is
important that you are able to concentrate on your lesson.
7. Will anyone else know that I am being tutored?
Student information is confidential. Please let the Tutor
Coordinator know how you would like to be contacted.
